| At the end of the syllabus, the students of MIM will be able to launch TechSmith Camtasia 8 software and create a new project file, without any major issues, after having a basic understanding of the GUI and commonly used features. Success story: students are able to launch the software and create a new Camtasia project file with their preferred video dimension. |
| Upon completion of the syllabus, students of MIM will be able to record a video from the available input source and save the raw file for editing purposes in the future, without human guidance. Success story: the students have captured the events occurred within the predefined area on screen, together with narrator’s voice over, and save the recorded raw clips. |
| Upon completion of the syllabus, the students of MIM should be able to import raw media into Camtasia Clipbin and Timeline panel for editing purposes. Success story: the students are able to view and reuse the media files grouped in Clipbin panel, according to the different file types and extensions. |
